Bozkurt: Guiding Spirit

In the oldest memory of the Turks lies a tale carried on the whisper of the wind, a story that begins in valleys cloaked with snow beyond the mountains. A child wounded, weary, and bereft of kin wanders alone. He is found by a she-wolf whose eyes are as deep as the sky and whose silver fur gleams in the moonlight.

According to legend, this wolf was no ordinary creature, but a sacred guide sent by the heavens. She sheltered the child, carried him beyond the mountains, and taught him both survival and the path forward. In time, the boy became the ancestor of a new people, while the she-wolf lived on in their hearts as the eternal symbol of freedom and rebirth.

This sculpture is not merely a figure of wildlife; it embodies ancestral memory, the story of a guiding spirit, and humanity’s return to its essence. Each design is born from the silhouette of the she-wolf that awakens in the mind of its owner. Every piece carries a unique and singular soul.

In the wolf’s gaze lie the silent strength of the mountains and the boundlessness of the heavens. This work is not just an object, but a contemporary reflection of a legend thousands of years old. Wherever it is placed, its story will live on with you.
